There are many Sifus in Wing Chun, thanks to Hong Kong's movie industry which has made the art very famous. However, real art cannot be mass produced. IMO finding a good Sifu today is no easier than it was 100 years ago. To learn the art requires much time, patience, dedication, hands on training, and the good fortune 緣份 (yuen fen) to find a true keeper of the art. You could say Wing Chun sifus are a bit like doctors, most don't really know what they're doing and always say "try this for a few days and then come back", but a good one can save your life.
There are many fables, boasts, and tall tales in the world of fantasy martial arts, especially in the world of commercial martial arts, with many claims of this or that. Talk is cheap, actions say all. The only way to know is to compare and see for yourself. In the end, all students find what they are looking for, and few students are truly looking for Wing Chun. While a true seeker is searching for Wing Chun, Wing Chun is also searching for 有緣人,those who have yuen, and what it takes to wield Wing Chun. Like student, like teacher, and vice versa.
