Can anyone recommend a Canadian trained orthodontic in Hong Kong? I saw Dr G Wang who wanted to take my daughters fixed brace off and start all over again because he has different wires etc. I emailed my Canadian orthodontic who recommended I got a second opinion and said that the braces he uses are the most common and used world wide.

Thanks

Find out what type of braces your daughter has (manufacturer and name). Then go to the HK society of orthodontist website and send email to ask if they use the type of braces your daughter has.

Thanks for the advice. For anyone else, I am pleased to say that Dr Tsun Ma at Bayley and Jackson, Jardine House, Central is able to work with the brace my daughter had fitted in Canada. First impression, he was friendly, professional and with very good English for us expats.

Dear Josie.Misty:

I am glad to know that you were able to find someone you like to continue treatment for your daughter. I have heard good things about Dr. Ma but my kids are all grown and doesn't need braces. However, I will tell my friends what you said about Dr. Ma in case any of their kids need braces.
