I've been searching for a while,
Already been told to avoid the health plans from the banks like HSBC
I even checked some agent websites like nowcompare.com. They have some plans that look good.
But when I look at the details, it says I need to wait 6 months for the Dental plan to take effect and 12 months for the Medical plan to take effect, that's pretty excessive, no!?
I want to buy something for this year not next year >:(
My current plan with Bupa just ran out, and it kinda sucked so I don't want to use them again.
Thanks

When you say wait 12 months for the medical plan to take effect I think you're referring to the maternity benefit part of it only. The rest of it comes into effect fairly soon, but as you say, some have a waiting period for dental coverage as well. The waiting period is, in general, to make sure you aren't pregnant or have existing dental problems before you sign up.
If you're interested I can have a look around for you as I work in the industry. Just send me a private message.
