Help - Looking for Dermatologist - Acne coming back !!

I had severe acne back in India and took a treatment for almost 3-4 years from a known specialist back there. A lot of oral medicines and many to apply on my face.
I moved to HK last year, and now all of a sudden my acne started coming back, my doctor stopped the oral medication in 2012 itself as he knew that I was getting married soon.
I went to Fancl and shiseido, they checked my skin and I somehow trusted them and bought some mineral tablets and softner, serum respectively for more then 2500 HKD. Although I was not confident about using them but somehow I bought all of this.

I am applying it from 3 days now still no difference, acnes are coming back. I am really worried I suffered alot with this in past.

Can you guys please help me to advise the best dermatologist in here, who should consider the fact that I am married and need to plan my family so cant be on strong oral medication.

First of all I feel your pain! Acne is such an emotionally and physically painful thing to have to go through. I was in a similar position to you a couple of years ago and I couldn't find a dermatologist here that didn't just want to throw me on really strong and expensive drugs that would wreak havoc with my fertility. I now realise that my skin was telling me that things related to hormones, lifestyle and diet were out of balance. This may not be the same for you but I'm sure at least one of those things could be contributing to the problem. This blog www.thelovevitamin.com saved my skin and my life! I would also highly recommend seeing a naturopath or integrated physician to run hormone and blood tests and help you get to the root cause. I saw Dr Benita Perch from IMI and she was wonderful and helped me clear up my skin dramatically using medicinal herbs, diet and some homeopathy. Give it a try if you're sick of all these toxic pills and creams and if you want to improve your fertility at the same time!

I am sorry for the late response. Can you tell me in details about the doctor you consulted ?? My face is getting worst, I called my doc back in India but he off-course cant treat me being so far.

Are you sure you're not allergic to cosmetics? Yasmin is a great oral contraceptive pill used for acne treatment. You may wanna talk to your OB GYN about it. Or try Panoxyl.
