Hi all,
I've been thinking of getting eye surgery here and started doing some research on the Internet.
I found a few reviews, but nothing very recent.
Has anyone had this done recently in HK?
Anyone knows of a good place to do it?
Thank you,
O.

remember that for LASIK eye they will cut cornea which won't heal, doctors won't tell that,

Did you watch the video SCORPIO01? "It doesn't NECESSARELY heal".
Of course, there are some possible complications, but the surgery makes you aware of those risks before. And in most cases, it DOES heal.
Anyway, my point is that I didn't need an 'anti lasik' review, I was asking where to do it. If I wanted to go against that surgery, I would have gone on another forum and ask you to give me all the cons of the procedure.
Instead, I decided to focus on the pros, and had the lasik surgery at the Sanatorium. Great service, great doctor, great nurses. The surgery went really well, and SCORPIO01, you'll be happy to know that my flaps are perfectly back in place and healing without any problem ;-)
I'll keep you posted if I wake up one day with a corneal flap on my pillow...

Good luck
but from your reading your post I highly doubt you know what you are talking about, that's not how corneal flap dislocates.
but nonetheless, good luck.

I was just being sarcastic :-)
Thanks for your wishes anyway!

My friends highly recommend these hospitals for eye surgery:
Hong Kong Sanatorium hospital; and
Grantham hospital (in Aberdeen)

Thanks SYDEXPAT, I did it at the Sanatorium, and the whole experience was great.
