are there any US expat insurance companies, that provide healthcare coverage, in china? i know about bupa & williams & russel. they are from the UK. i am from the US. does where i come from matter?

as expats . very hard to track down our financial situation and medical insurance plan once we are away from home .. I use www.5seas.com and they provide all expats' need in terms of life planning , I am using Bupa for over 8 years now and they are the best seriously even in Shanghai just offer you the best coverage when i had emergency and helped me check in the most expensive hospital & rooms , s, i think where you are from doesn't really matter , it does matter where you live now when you enroll with BUPA and which area you would like be covered ....
Anyway , good luck .I know how hard to find good insurance advisor in Shanghai ... I was there two years and I just asked the 5seas.com's founders yp help they are great !

I have been trying to find good medical insurance as an expat in Hong Kong and I called Alliance Insurance, they ended up saving me quite a bit of money and their service was good. there number is 2891 8915
