I recently discovered that I am pregnant and I do not have any health cover at the moment. Does anyone know of any insurance company that would take me on at this point/any good health cover insurance?

Firstly, congrats!
Unfortunately, I do not know of any health insurance which will cover you once you are already pregnant (as then they are not insuring a risk but a pre-existing condition). All I have seen are ones with a 10 month stand-down period, meaning that you can't be pregnant when you take the insurance out.

You can still take out insurance but won't be able to claim any maternity related costs. There are plans out there that can provide guaranteed cover for the newborn as long as the birth is 6 months after you sign up
