Comparison of private hospitals

Hello everyone,


How do the private hospitals in Hong Kong stack up against one another in terms of quality care, professionalism, service, and cost? Do they all general offer equal levels of care or are some regarded more highly than others?


I have experience with public hospitals and private clinics but I'm interested in knowing more about private hospitals. Are costs for general office visits (or for specialists) in private hospitals cheaper than private clinics?


Secondly, I don't see any mention of St. Teresa's on the forum... has anyone had any experience with this hospital? Their rates for various specialists seem very reasonable and I have been told that I do not need any referral letter to book an appointment.


Lastly, does anyone have any recommendations for the following:

- orthopedic surgeon

- neurologist

- headache specialist

- GP
