Anyone know of a good OT who is also patient with children?

My son has been going to her weekly for about 4 months and I have definitely noticed a difference.

She is extremely patient.

wonderful! my son is having trouble with his handwriting and concentration. i'll look for her. thank you. can you tell me what typeso f things OT's do?Do you mind telling me what she did for your son?

Hi Notmeok can you PM me (i havent worked out how to do it )and I will reply with all the details.

Handwriting. concentration are definitely part of my sons issues.

A lot of what she does appear to be structured play and at first I was a bit dubious of what rolling on a ball could do, however we have definitely seen an improvement and the added bonus is it is not a chore going as he really enjoys it.

Try the Child development centre at Matilda Hospital. They have Occupational Therapists that work there as well as Speech Therapists and Physiotherapists. There number is 2849 6138 or website: www.cdchk.org
