her OB-GYN should be able to tell you, but i don't think you should fear anything. One of my friends also had C-section and was pregnant 11 months later, she delivered both babies via C-section and all turned out well

Risks after caesarean section:

Low lying placentas, (placenta previa)

Scar rupture.

If the previous c/section had no complications.

The risk of scar rupture is small < 1 % throughout pregnancy,

More than one year after the previous scar has a low risk.

Regina, this happened to a friend of mine. It was difficult but she did recover and she is just fine now. Her infection was so bad that they had to take the stitches out and just let it heal. I don't know too many details, but insurance paid for a home health nurse to come to her home and take care of the wound every day. The insurance tried not to pay, but her husband said "then okay, admit her back into the hospital." After that, they decided it would be cheaper to pay for the home care. It's a good idea to wait at least a year between babies anyway. But most importantly, try not to worry about things you don't have control over. Worrying won't change it, so try to focus on good things -- healing, and your new baby who needs a healthy, strong mommy. You have been told you will be able to have more children, so don't fret (some people are not even this lucky). Make sure you have adequate pain relief, pain takes away your capacity to cope! Also, remember that normal hormone changes after birth can result in huge emotional swings. Some weepiness after childbirth is completely normal, just try to get support from your hubby, parents and friends. Tell them specifically what you need and they will come through for you ("could you bring some milk and bread, and a little bit of chocolate, when you come visit?" or "could you bring in a supper from Olivers Deli on Wednesday?")
