Hi,


I think I'm getting an ear infection. I have no insurance yet, only covered under Canadian provincial health insurance. How much will the cost be for a visit to a Dr.? Where can I find a good Dr. in Sai Kung?

The Union hospital in Tai Wai charges $150 for a consultation with a doctor. Usually you don't have to wait very long and I think you can make an appointment.

If you have a Hong Kong ID you are able to use public health. The Mona Fong Clinic is opposite the Square (where Ali Oli and Jaspers are)For a small fee (around $40) you will be able to see an English speaking Dr. and pick up any medication prescribed all included in the price. Might be best option for a simple ear infection. Dr Siu and Dr Rose Barnett at Owen and Trodd are good but more costly.
