Sorry to hear that sampaguita. I had my first vertigo attack in 2004, unfortunately, I still have it until today.

It's caused by too much stress. I only feel better when I get a full rest or sleep. I hope you get well soon.

It is not difficult to differentiate Meniere disease and vertigo. The former is marked by seeing objects turning circles as long as he opens his eyes; while vertigo can be caused by quite a few reasons, most of them are deficient cases. If you did not lose your hearing abruptly but gradually, it is due to aging, according to Chinese medicine theory. As brain marrow level drops, one is losing out his hearing gradually. Fortunately, there are quite a few remedies to boost one's marrow. These chronic hearing problems (including ringing in the ear) can be improved in due time.

I am a Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist by profession. Acupuncture can only provide temporary relief for the symptom as it can not treat the root issue.
