Thanks dadda.....did you dilute the solution or use directly to the spot?

I've just tried soaking my hand using 50HP/50water for about 5 minutes an hour ago and there was some tingling sensation during the process but now my hand felt much better. Could direct soaking without the water be dangerous?

Maybe I'll try using a cotton ball and wipe it on the irritated skin like dadda advised and see the result.

Tried the method described by FKKC as I have the same problem. While soaking, I feel the sting like needle and pin so I rinse my hands right afterwards.

Should it be like this? BTW, my hands did feel better too.

The hydrogen peroxide (HP) that you're using should be diluted to at least 3 percent before using it topically. If it's tingling, consider diluting it further. I have used 3 percent HP dilluted in distilled water as a nasal spray to successfully cure sinus infections. However, i have always used food grade HP that contains no preservative or stabilisers. I have only been able to obtain it from the USA. I suggest doing some research on HP, check out http://www.familyhealthnews.com/ to begin with.

I would try either baking soda ior emsom salts in a sink or tub of warm water. Both soothe and take away itchiness, sunburn, etc. Also, if you have an aloe vera plant, rub some of the 'juice/goo" on the sore spots.
