Any place to get an anonymous HIV test in HK ?


What happens if they find out you are seropositive. Any risk to have HK ID revoked ?

There is no obligitory notification of the government required for HIV. Confidential testing (they will need your details) can be done at different government testing sites as well as private hospitals.

You can go to The Jockey Club Clinic,145 Battery St, 5th Fl, Yaumatei. You must call first to make an appointment, tel; 23046100. It is completely anonymous and free. The staff are very efficient and caring and ask you only to answer some questions about your sexual behaviour. After the blood test, they give you a reference number and ask you to call them ten days later, but they will not give you the result over the phone, you have to make another appointment. This is govt run, the website is; www.info.gov.hk/aids which is full of useful information. Hope this helps.
