Month to Month Health Insurance

ORIGINAL POST

Hi All,

Am waiting for my work visa to go through and am travelling for work between several countries and HK. Since this will be my base, I would like to get private insurance for a few months until I am covered here by the company plan.

I would like decent coverage (have some sports related injuries and will need some physio). Any ideas on who I can go through. I would like to get this set-up asap.

I would doubt you can get your previous injuries covered by any insurance company. They usually refuse to cover anything you had before you start coverage with them.

You can look into Bupa or William Russell. They focus on expat and world-wide coverage other than the HK based insurance that is more for the local market.

Good luck

I can confirm that no insurer is going to cover you for physio on an injury you are suffering from prior to signing up for the policy.

With regards to monthly coverage, the only way to do this is to sign up for an annual policy but paying monthly.
