Hi, I just moved to HK and looking for the best OB/Gyn(either in central or Kowloon..currently living in TST).
Also after the delivery...I perfer to stay hospital/clinic for at least 2-3 days...
so please recommend clinic with this facility..
In your experience, is it too bothering to go to somewhere away from you even thou they are the best doctors?
I guess best one will be in central..but not so sure that I can go there 2 a month for the whole 9 months...What do you think???
Please give me an advise-
Also famous doctor's name would be so helpful!
Many thanks in advance!

Dr Christine Choy at Care for Women in New World Tower in Central (tel 3112 0480) is the best obstetrician/gynaecologist in Central as far as I am concerned and has received many many recommendations on this site. It is a very personal choice though. Go and see her and see how you get along.

welcome to Hong Kong. If you would like any information on our hospital services or doctors registered at the hospital please feel free to give me a call. Its a good idea to have a look around a few hospitals and get a feel for the level of care.

Sincerely the best hospital is Matilda in HK and the best gynaecologist is Dr. Arabindo Ghosh. My wife had a baby there in April and didn't want to come home. Safety wise wouldn't trust anybody except Dr. Ghosh. He is a thorough gentleman, witty and relaxed, good Indian doctor from UK.cHECK OUT FOR YOURSELF.

I would recommend Dr. Joe Chan to you. I am now about 7 months pregnant. I saw him with my friend's introduction. At the beginning, I was a bit reluctant to see a male obs in my first pregnancy!! After seeing him, I think he is very caring, knowledgeable and professional. He spent a lot of time with me going through my questions and what I should pay attention to during pregnancy. His patience really moved me, much much better than the few women obs I saw before him.
I had my amniocentesis about 2-3 months ago. The experience was very good, with little pain. Certainly, the results turned out to be normal. I am still seeing him and I would definitely use him for delivering my baby. His office is at Central and his no. is 25233328. I am sure that he won't disappoint you.
