Can anyone recommend a good plastic surgeon here in HK.
I am very interested in having an uplift or implants and would like a consultation with a recommended surgeon.
Any ideas?

Dr Francis Ho is a considerate plastic surgeon in Argyle centre, kowloon. He is good and could price lower.

Am now considering getting a consultation here in Hong Kong, but going over to Bangkok to have the actual surgery, it is so much cheaper and I hear that the hospitals and surgeons are very good. Am looking into it - has anyone got first hand experience of surgery in Bangkok?

hi dragonseal, this is more of a general suggestion regarding surgery (vs specific to breast augmentation): if you are going to undergo a surgical procedure, might it not be better to stay close to home, in case anything (touch wood!) untoward happens? i have also heard that procedures in bangkok are much cheaper vs the rest of asia, and the hospitals are excellent, BUT there are good and bad doctors everywhere in the world, and then there's the possible language problem - are you fluent in thai, just in case your doctor's english isn't perfect? in other words the risks would be the same anywhere you go, so your only advantage in doing it outside of hk would be to save money. when it comes to your body maybe it's not worth it. at least in hk you would be close to home, and language and communication is no problem, and as far as your specific procedure goes, am sure there are at least a couple of doctors whose patients would be happy to actually show you their results - you can't do that kind of research in bangkok, from hk. just my two cents' worth! good luck :-)

I would love to hear about your experience.
I don't mean to be stupid, but how do I send an AX mail?

Ruth,
I have done all the breastfeeding I am ever going to do - which is half the reason I need this op (rather want it).
I have wanted to have a BA for 13 years and I have finally decided enough is enough
My reasons for doing it are very personal, but believe when I say they are extremely founded.
I too would like to know what the life long side effects are.

I am going to make an appointment for a consultation here in Hong Kong so I have some background info and I am going to Bangkok in March for surgery.
This is so the right decision for me, I have looked at many websites and I am well aware of the risks, but if you knew my history you would understand that they are calculated risks that I am totally prepared to take.
I am slightly nervous, but very excited and Pumpkin I know I will wish I did it before I hit 40! Thanks

Had a thought yesterday about recovery time - how long did it take you to "get back to normal"? I am training to be a Yoga instructor and do Yoga every day (power). I guess I will have to talk to the surgeon about it, but could you give me some idea how you were?

Pumpkin,
Where is the website address you mentioned - I can't see one in the posts?
