I have the same question - but it seems asiaexpat is not a very cool place to hang out these days...37 days and no reply. or nobody with white teeth uses asiaexpat.

Teeth whitening can be done with take home gels or at the dental clinic.
Take home kits require to wear the bleaching trays every week for 30-60 minutes per time for as long as you want - they are refillable. Initial kit cost about 3000, the refill is around 600 lasts you about two weeks
The office bleaching is a 2 hour procedure and you walk out of the clinic instantly white. Its quite sensitive though. Cost around 8000 hkd
best effects is to do the office bleaching and then continue with the home kit to maintain your white teeth!
