I would like to know if anyone has experience with kidney and or kidney/pancreas transplants in hong kong or china. I am seeking information for a close relative who is very ill and would like to investigate this option. Any information, experiences positive/negative and or contacts would be much appreciated.

hi,

we brght our father in law to guanghzou last april for his kidney transplant, he is in his 70s. This doc is highly recomemded by our relative from china who is also a surgeon. Anyway, we have a few distant relatives who went to him and were satisfied with the trasplants.my fil went through very stringent and detailed check-up and tests before he was deemed fit/suitable as a transplant patient. We spent closed to 2mths in the hospital and very satisfief with the outcome. He has to visit the renal specialist every 3-4 weeks for his chech-ups and blood tests to ensure that his body is not rejecting the knidney.he also has to take anti-rejection drugs for the rest of his life, so these bloodtests and reviews and very important cos the dosage need to be adjusted from time to time. if u require any addtional info, u might want to email me
