A free health newspaper in Hong Kong

I'm the publisher of Healthy Times Newspaper Hong Kong and now that I've been getting it out and around Hong Kong over the past few days, I want to get some comments from people who have read it.

Even though it's impossible to make everyone happy, it's really important to me and the success of my paper to hear any comments my fellow expats as well as HongKongers may have about it.

I've noticed over the past few years living in HK that there just is no publication out here that focuses on health and has detailed and local info in it..furthermore, to be free and in English, forget it. So, Healthy Times was born!

This is a franchise from the states and it's very popular where it's distributed there so I really want the same to be said for HK.

Your comments would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Andrew

It can be found at numerous locations throughout HK. Much the same types of places as HK mag or the List. Areas include..Sai Kung, Clearwater Bay/Hang Hau(All Taste locations as well as Great Foodhall in Admiralty) SoHo, Central, Wanchai, Stanley Market, DB and Lamma. Also, Mong Kok Myoga, Main Street Cafe, Mesimis in Langham. Also, 360, Pret A Manger and MIX locations.

I'm doing my best to keep up with the stock at all locations. Some disappear very quickly while others don't. Please let me know what area is most convenient to you and I'll let you know where you can find it.

You can go to http://healthytimesonline.com/HK_rate_brochure.pdf to find out. It all depends on what size and time length you go for. Each pymt covers a period of 2 months so this should work out to be very competitive in the HK market.

Thanks and let me know if you have any further questions,

Andrew

What's the nearest place to Cyberport where I can find your magazine?

The nearest place would be either in Central or Stanley. (I'm not too sure which one would be more convenient but probably Central) In Central, 360, MIX, restaurants, many bars in LKF, some Pret A Mangers like in IFC as well as MIX in IFC.

I must say though that most places that carry this paper run out pretty quick. Your best bet if you're in Central is to go to 360 as that's where we place the most to meet the demand. Both at the main entrance as well as upstairs in the foodcourt in front of the Mexian food stand.

Also, SoHo, all the shops, restaurants and bars but again, they run out fairly quick. If you find yourself in Stanley, you can go to Taste and they carry the papers. Also, most of the bars and restaurants there.(I drive and I haven't made it out to Cyberport in a long time so I don't remember if it's convenient at all to Stanley)

I know it's not much hope when I tell you that most places are out of the paper but it's true. We give our distributors many copies but they go through them fast even though we stay on top to make sure they're always available around town. Although, I guess that's a good thing as it means someone must really like the paper.

I do hope you're able to get a copy at one of the places I mentioned. I'd be happy to know your thoughts on it when you get the chance to read it.
