Each person has its own "toilet rhythm" some are fast, and other slow, some are 'hard' and others loose'. To be honest, it does not matter where you are on the scale of regularity, what matters is that you are comfortable, and free of symptoms such as cramping, bloatedness, indigestion etc.
The best way of regulating your pattern is looking at your diet: When you increase your fibre intake (as in a vegetarian diet) you will find that things move along much faster, however initially this may cause some
increase gas. You may add additional fibres to your diet as can be bought over the counter.
If you experience bleeding when you go to the toilet, or if there is a family history of bowel disease, it is best to see your doctor and discuss.
