are these reasonable costs

I have just received a quote to get some checks done. I have not used a doc in HK (and not much in OZ) so can not judge the costs but it seems high.


For your reference :



(1) General health check plan M including a stress cardiac ECG test by the cardiologist



(Overnight fasting after 12 MN is required for the fasting blood tests)



(Dress yourself in casual clothing, preferrably in sports wear & running shoes)



$7,000 HK Dollars



It will be done at a medical diagnostic centre above the causewaybay MTR station in a morning session



(~10:00am - ~1:00pm). Preliminary booking next Monday morning on 24th June 2013



(2) MRI scan of your right painful shoulder syndrome



$7,000 HK Dollars



This will be done at a medical diagnostic centre in the Central as a separate session







Total= $14,000 HK Dollars
