Anyone had the women's check up that the family planning service offers? Just wondering how it is...

Yes, I've gone there the last 2 years for the checkup including pap smear. It's reasonably thorough, although they refer you to a radiologist for mammograms/breast ultrasound if the doctor thinks it's necessary. They're efficient and not expensive. I also use them for cholesterol tests.

- is it valid for men as well?


- post 40, may i enquire what regular check up routine would you take as my work insurance doesnt propose any...


So many friends now have cancers that went undetected and yet i do not understand HK public Health proposition for this to the public

If you are a permanent resident (ID card ) you are entitled to these checks, pap smears etc. I was born here so always get my reminders... I am sure you can register at your local clinic. same must go for men too.
