I'm sorry I can't recommend a doctor, as I'm new to HK. But I can tell you what works for me after 20 years of searching for the "cure". I have regular adjustments at the chiropractor and regular massages. Of course it doesn't stop one coming on, but it helps somewhat. I also have a medication called Zomig, not sure if it's available here (I have my script made up in Aust). It has been a godsend in my life. It will only work on true migraines, in other words, it won't do anything if it's hormonal or neuralgia style headache/migraine, and you have wasted close to AU$20 a tablet! But when it works (it usually takes 1.5 hrs thereabouts), it's like an elastic band that has been stretched and then snapped and the pain has gone, just like that! It's not gradual, one minute it's there, and the next it's not. To ease immediate pain, get a bowl of ice cold water, even leave the cubes in there, put a few drops of lavender essential oils, then get a facewasher and slide in down the side of the bowl and under the water and lavender, leave it to cool, then bring it up so it's icy cold and has the lavender infused into the washer. Place that over your forehead. It doesn't take away the pain, but makes the jackhammer not so intense for a little while at least. There is also a pressure points in the feet, so reflexology is good and also between the thumb and index finger and when massaged can provide a little relief. I hope I have given you just a little help, they can really ruin your quality of life. Good Luck!

A friend recently went to a naturopath after suffering for years with terrible migraines and was tested and had an allergy to wheat/gluten, so now after cutting them out of her diet hasn't looked back. I'd definitely go see a naturopath to see if anything can be done.

Try Graeme Stuart Bradshaw. He runs his practice called Integrated Medicine Institute in Central.
