I'm already seeing a chiropractor , but would like to
start pilates or yoga for some extra stretching .
Does anyone have any good recommendations ?
I'd really like to find an instructor who is FULLY aware of back conditions and would take the time to
sit down with me and get a history of said back.
I'm easy as to whether this takes place in a group , on a one to one basis , with or without gym type membership . I just want to find someone who knows what they are doing , and cares !!
Any ideas ? Thanks .

I know a yoga instructor who teaches private and group classes, and she's quite caring and patient, would you like to try?

Yoga Limbs (Sheung Wan and Clearwater Bay) is awesome. Very personalised and committed.
Optimum Performance Studio is excellent for Pilates as well as Isofit. Isofit is in LKF and OPS is on Stanley Street.
All excellent places and perfect for the needs you've mentioned.

You may also try Flex Studio... www.flexhk.com :)

If you're looking for an instructor who has knowledge of back pain issues, it's probably a good idea to stay away from local run-of-the-mill yoga studio. I have had back issue for last 20 years. I would recommend a good physiotherapist who is educated in helping those in pain.
I have joined some yoga studio and can you most do not have any formal medical training, and i have even been burned once from one closing and losing all my $$. I also had looked in flex and found they are very pricey compared to others.

Pangea.com.hk ... there is a Level 3 Body Control Pilates instructor who runs classes and gives 1-1 private lessons. Heather is great.
There are also Wing Chun lessons available which focus primarily on relaxation and spine re-alignment, which is a perfect blend with the Pilates.
