hmmm i am not sure about the medical name. i only know its like spots on the body that cannot be tanned and it can spread. but its not contagious.

Show your spots to a pharmacist, who can probably diagnose what they are and prescribe (an anti-fungal?) cream. If they're what I'm thinking of - and used to get now and again in the hot season in tropical countries on my arms, legs and chest - then they used to go within a couple of days of using such ointment.
