Hello, everyone. I'm a physician in the states considering a move to HK. I wanted to ask of your experiences/ perceptions of healthcare in HK as expat residents.
Do you seek (or are there) particular "expat friendly" institutions or clinics?
Do you/ can you seek out Western doctors (or even perceive a difference)?
Is there a real/ perceived difference b/w private/ public sector clinics and services?
I'm an anesthesia provider, so some of these questions don't pertain directly to the physical doing of my job, but I'd like to get a sense of the feelings about the industry in general.
Thanks for any input.
(Also any input from physicians there is also very welcome)
