I contracted genital warts. I am trying to find a dermatologist who can remove them. I currently live in the Chaoyang District of Beijing. Western Doctor preferred. Thanks for your help.
kse replied just before me. Your GP will initially treat the warts with creams/solution. Removal is sometimes necessary (e.g. large ones or those which don't respond to medication) but your GP should be able to recommend a doctor to do this.
Warts can disappear on their own but the underlying virus is never completely eliminated and the warts may reappear even after treatment.
I do understand that I it is a virus. i am not seeking a cure, but rather a treatment to remove the unsightly blemishes. I was told cream is effective, and if desired, i could have them removed by a doctor. I am seeking the latter option as the cream takes far too long. I have been in BJ for nearly four months but I do not have a GP. I just need to know where to go for the treatment I seek. Again, Chaoyang District. Thanks for the replies.
It seems you guys expats will travel back to HK for medical attention. Why don't we push the HKSAR to advertise HK as a medical tourism hub for Asia, especially mainlanders?
