Exyogi I have given your multiple posts much thought and have come to the conclusion that you need to do more with your knowledge then simple post on this site.
Some hardcore research needs to be conducted on the effect of Vitman C and its effects on selected infectious disease. I recommend you start with HIV as there is no know cure for this illness. Just curing one people would make world headlines and change medical practices. Even showing a reduction in the number of HIV virus would result in a lot of additional research into the effects of Vitamin C.
Avenues for research-
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
Respected Universities (around the world) with Medical programs
Medical research companies
Clinial trial companies

People with HIV/AIDS need a breakthrough. Are you the person who can provide it?

“Some hardcore research needs to be conducted on the effect of Vitamin C and its effects on selected infectious disease.”
Such research is already legion, and has been going on since the 1930’s. You can read about some of that research from this on-line book “Injectable Vitamin C: Effective Treatment For Viral and Other Diseases” ....

For a more comprehensive look at Vitamin C research you should get the book “Curing The Incurable: Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins” by Thomas E. Levy, MD, JD. The book list over 1,200 scientific references about Vitamin C research .......

“I recommend you start with HIV as there is no know cure for this illness.”
quote .....
“Cathcart (1984) reported on his experience in treating AIDS patients with vitamin C. His results clearly indicate that AIDS and HIV infection are preventable and reversible conditions, and he postulates that the cure of AIDS might be possible if aggressive vitamin C therapy is continued for a long enough period of time. The reversibility of AIDS with vitamin C can vary from minimal symptom alleviation and reversal to a complete suppression of AIDS-associated symptoms. This complete suppression is distinguished from a cure, however, as the AIDS syndrome will typically reappear when Cathcart’s suggested high-dose maintenance regimen of vitamin C is either discontinued or significantly cut back.”
“Although Cathcart did occasionally use intravenous vitamin C in treating AIDS, his most consistent administration of vitamin C was by mouth. He found that roughly 50,000 to 200,000 mg of vitamin C (as ascorbic acid powder) daily could suppress the symptoms of many AIDS patients. Not surprisingly, he also found that this level of vitamin C markedly reduced the incidence of secondary infections in the AIDS patients. Such infections are often the immediate causes of death in AIDS, and they also are responsible for much of the suffering associated with the disease. Also, even though these patients were sustaining good symptom relief, the helper T-cell (an important immune cell) count would still show evidence of being suppressed even when the high-dose vitamin C protocol had resolved the clinical symptoms. This indicated an ongoing control of the disease but not a cure.”
the above quote is taken from page 95 of “Curing the Incurable: Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins” mentioned above.
“People with HIV/AIDS need a breakthrough.”
The breakthrough has already occurred, but you won’t see the medical establishment embracing it. Just like you won’t see the medical establishment embracing the cure for swine flu ..... http://uncensored.co.nz/2010/08/22/new-zealand-medical-authorities-continue-to-ignore-a-potential-cure-for-swine-flu/
“Are you the person who can provide it?”

Why not???? You have the knowledge and the passion to take this to the next level, why sit back and wait for others to take up the torch?
Oh and "... he postulates that the cure of AIDS might be possible if aggressive vitamin C therapy is continued for a long enough period of time..."
They said the same thing about HIV drugs, and it did not happen. Why has Cathcart not done the next step in this research and given Vitamin C for an extended period of time? Why can't you do this research? What are you so worried about?

“Why not???? You have the knowledge and the passion to take this to the next level, why sit back and wait for others to take up the torch?”
Because of three (3) reasons: Since I am not a medical professional .....
1 - I don’t have the credentials
2 - I don’t have the training and skills required
but most importantly,
3 - I don’t have the interest
“Why has Cathcart not done the next step in this research and given Vitamin C for an extended period of time?”
I don’t know. But here’s his web site and you can contact him about the matter http://www.orthomed.com/#top .
“Why can't you do this research? What are you so worried about?”
See the three (3) reasons above.
