Anyone know how do padeatricians charge for their consultations in private practice? Any average indicator of fee schedules? This is in relation to a visual/perception assessment.

i think you would need a referral to an occupational therapist or psychologist to assess visual/perception skills. is it for a possible learning difference, sensory integrative disorder? these tests are pricey. but a regular gp consultation whether the patient is an adult or a child usually runs between 600 to 800 $$. I don't think you are referring to a regular opthalmologist, are you?

Our pediatrician charges $650 per consultation.
