Take a look at a company called Journeyman Services Ltd who offer a policy which may be suitable. A search on Google will find them and they can supply a quote on return.

I found an insurance broker, called Kwiksure. Their website is: http://www.kwiksure.com
When I asked them for health insurance, they prepared an excel table with all the major providers to compare. BUPA does good marketing, but in comparison not much value for money. Hope that helps

i agree with helislon that BUPA have so many restrictions and limits that i wouldnt recommend at all ,so i just use the govt service in HK and buy seperate medical evacuation coverage for the mainland so i can be brought back to hk in event of serious accident illness ASAP

Hi, also look into Prudential. Separate medical covereage can be bought in HK to cover you in China. But, as I think you will know you have to buy the coverage in HK under Chinese Law. If you need any further assistance, you can email me or call me on 2313 3601.

I just sorted my insurance through Alliance Insurance Services too! I tried a number of companies but their service was the best and they had more options than any other broker. They saved me quite a bit of cash by coming up with sensible options which was a bonus. E mail them on enquiries@alliancegroup.com.hk or call on 2891 8915.

Hello, I just arrived in Shanghai and I take an international health insurance for my working period there. Like you i didn't know witch one i'm supposed to take so i made a quotation at http://www.azurialife.com and they send me diffents solutions, from differents insurers (Bupa, Aetna, Now Health and Cigna if i remember well) at differents prices. I recommend you this option if you are looking for an international medical insurance and if you are lost like i was :)

We have basic BUPA now after going off our expat health insurance and can only choose doctors through the local network in order to have coverage. Does anyone have any recommendations for primary care and pediatricians?
