Been looking for medical insurance for me and family but everywhere i go it is either limited cover or really expensive. Any reconmendations?

I just bought expat health insurance from advice from one of the forums. Try calling Alliance Insurance Services (2891 8915) and Pacific Prime (cant remember). They were both very good and better than a lot of the other companies i tried. I ended up going with Alliance Insurance as they saved me some money

Alot of people have been recommending Alliance on these forums. I've tried googling them and have not come up with anything. I've found something called Allianz Insurance Hong Kong which I'm sure isn't the same thing. Is Alliance Insurance the same as AIG international insurance? Can someone link to Alliance's website please? Thank you!

not sure what the alliance website is although i looked them up online to make sure and found them registered with the professsional insurance brokers association of hong kong. try giving them a call on 2891 8915 to find out more. there nearest office to me is in the China Life Insurance Building on Hennessy Road

thanks for the info jamesslat. the problem is i'm still in the states at the moment. i'm trying to get insurance before i arrive in HK. that's why i was hoping for a website of some kind to find out more information. it's strange that alliance don't appear to have a website.

Alliance Group is a broker based in Hong Kong.

Allianz is a very traditional and reputable insurance company.


not the same. Having a good broker with an office in place is important when looking for insurance. I work from Beijing but can give the contact to our Shanghai or HK offices if anyone PM's me.
