Any heard of encopresis for 7 yrs old boy?

Any specialists in Hong Kong or steps? Do not know where to start? A psy or doctor?

I have just seen your thread. My 3 year old daughter is suffering from this after years of constipation. We are at our wits end. She is in so much pain all the time and has no quality of life. We have found our ped very unsupportive. In ireland where i come from the treatment for this involves a week long hospital stay where nurses take over and train the child. It is very succesful. Apparently this is not available here. We have just been refered to a psy but this is something that will take a long time. We are thinking of bringing our daughter back to Ireland as we cant bear to think of her suffering for so long while she meets a psy once a week!! HAve you had any progress. If so we would love to hear about it

I am so sad to hear such an extent of the sickness and hard times for you and your little one. I did not have any progress but I am recommended to see Tara Levinson who is both a child psy and a behavior change counselor which may be what would help my son. Again I am not in urgent needs such as in your case.
