We are going back to Bali and have 2 small children. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua 2 years ago and loved it. We are thinking of staying there again but are there any other recommendations for great kid friendly hotels? Thanks!

Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay is perfect with young children. Kid's Club right on the beach, and complimentary babysitting 7pm-midnight.

We stayed at the Adoyda in Nusa Dua in AUgust last year with our 2 children and had an AMAZING time. Huge pool, kids club, great beach with fab rock pooling walks in the afternoon, loved it so much that we plan to go back and we never go back to the same place twice.
Booked through Trip Advisor and saved a small fortune.

These all inclusive resorts are great for kids but it’s also sad that the family doesn't get much local flavour. I took the family to the Marriot in Phuket and it was excellent but it could have been anywhere sunny and warm with a pool and a play area. The town centres in many Asian hot spots are becoming err, difficult for families especially. (Why is that girls skirt so short Mummy?) We did enjoy a few days out to elephant rides and such but stayed clear of restaurant areas.

Bali is great, we love it there. All resorts have great facilities for kids. Another option is to rent a villa. We generally like villas cause you get more space and cost ends up the same. One place I would recommend is Karma Jimbaran - right next to the Four Seasons. I have contact if you need it. Enjoy!
