Hi there, anybody heard of Restylane? I read from magazine it treats wrinkles in less than 30 minutes... Is the result good? I have deep lines around my lips. Thx very much

6.5K for more than by plastic surgeon Dr. Edmund Chan. He's one of the best in town... really cheap for 1.5ml. Down in Causeway Bay. Also, he gives very good advice on the Botox vs. restylane combination ... very professional ... the staff there was nice too ...

Gotta be careful, I had my nose done a few months ago, by a general practitioner only, far from experienced, maybe a plastic surgeon would be better ...

Yeah, Dr. Edmund Chan is very good .... I've be to many doctors for years and he did the best job

I had Botox treatment at another clinic which is doned by Dr. Ringo Lam located in Stanley St. Central. It really removes my wrinkle, so amazing!!! Dr. Lam is very nice and the price is cheap as the botox treatment is not counted by units and patient can enjoy free touch-up service!!! I will recommend this Dr. to people who wants to remove wrinkles. One more tips for the girls, a free consultation is provided.

My mother had restylane a few years ago by a top person in Harley St, London, in fact i seem to remember it was the official restylane person. They promised you cant get a reaction to it, so she went ahead with it. It was the most horiffic thing ever, for about 10 months i think now, she had pussing absesses about 1cm big all over the "lines" she had injected. Basically had open wounds all over her face. She couldnt go out, she was in pain and very depressed. After going to a nurse 3 times a week for the whole time to have the dressings changes and the puss syringed out of the absesses, they finally cleared up almost a year after she had the injections. Now she has very very deep lines where the old ones were, and she looks a lot older..
Now to add weight to this arguement, plastic surgery companies are notouriously hard to sue, but she managed to sucessfully sue them for damages, and they paid out a rather large sum of money. basically enough to have reconstructive surgery, which at the moment she is too nervous to do.
Please PLEASE please think twice before injecting things into your body. We really dont know the effects and long term damages!!!

Geez that sounds horrible she was definitely not in a professional clinic! I have been to Face Magic Haven and find the doctors there very reliable and professional and I felt and look great after having restylane underneath my eyes and sides of my nose, i highly recommend them.

Dr Thomas who use to work at Face majic Haven, now works at Dr Image CWB.Face majic charges almost twice the price. Also I heard newer generation fillers are safer last longer, like Juviderm lasts longer depending on the thickness of the product you use.Can last 1 year to 18 months.
The doctor at Face Magic changes every 3 months,so it's better to stick with one doctor that knows your skin and can achieve consistent results.Never use silicone or permanent non-hyaluronic acid collagen products.
Best to ask dr.Thomas which filler is most suitable for which area and depth of wrinkle.I've had better, less lumpy, results with Juviderm bout $5000hkd than restylane $4000hkd for a 1 ml syringe.

How about thermage? does anyone knows about this procedure? i am thingking to have it done. Do anyone knows where i can do this in hongkong? this is for the treatment of wrinkles also. tnx

don't do Thermage! It can disfigure you. Read this forum: IPL and Laser Damage support, for the truth.
Restalyne, I have had it several times, also Perlane, no problems, but, you can find it makes your eyes look smaller. I have very big eyes, my best feature and found that Restalyne filled in the lines from the nose, but my cheeks were so plumped I didn't look like myself and my beautiful eyes looked nothing special. Kylie Minogue had same thing. More subtle work might do it. I am saving for Platelet Rich Plasma, PRP. Had one try, its great. And it's your own blood, don't see how you could have a bad reaction.

I heard Thermage is costly, painful, requiring blocking the nerve and lasts only a few years. P.R.P. Plate Rich Plasma would be a more natural way of stimulating collagen production and does'nt involve foreign material being injected into the skin,as you are using your own blood.I was skeptical at first but noticed my skin is alot perkier 2 weeks after the treatmennt. Not frozen or over stretched like with botox or lumpy after restylane.

hi everyone! ho effective are these treatments like botox? are these permanent solutions or after some time, wrinkles would come back? i'm on NeuCell anti-wrinkle cream now and it has reduced my wrinkles and some fine lines.
