I need to discuss an ongoing problem I've been having with an organisation which fails to follow its own constitution & acts as though it is above the law. This is only part of a problem which has plagued me since I arrived in HK in 2008. I am considering legal action. Lawyers are very expensive here, but at least I need to discuss this issue. Any recommendations?

I'm referring to the Baha'i Faith, a world religion with its HQ in Israel. I've been a member since 1977. In each country (including HK) there is a Spiritual Assembly.
There are strict laws & guidelines, but the HK Spiritual Assembly does not abide by them. I want to arrange a consultation with one particular member of the HK Baha'i community in an attempt to understand her motives. This meeting should take place in a lawyer's office. I also need to know where I stand legally regarding defamation of character.
