Need recommend for pain specailist

I got a chroinc moderate back pain on last week and consult a orthopadic doctors in Quality healthcare. I was diagnosed as Sciatica, and I would look for second opinion, anyone recommend for pain specailist in Hong Kong?

Hong Kong has no formal registered specialist “pain specialist”, you can check it in hkdoctors.org. Most of the cases are consulted by neurosurgeon. I recommend Dr. Joseph Lam, phone 2366 1888.

Hi, my bf was suffering from lower back pain for few weeks due to slip disc. He went to see orthopadic few times but slow or no improvements. We were recommended an accunpunture doctor by a doctor. His pain got straight after the treatment! After 4-5 times visit, he's fine now. PM me if u want his details. He's located in Mongkok. Each treatment is HK$500.

Do you have medical insurance? In some cases, the provider will list recommended or suggested doctors etc. in Hong Kong.


You may also find recommendations for same on your country's Hong Kong Consulate's website.

Dr Carina Lee, is a pain specialist at the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital. She's not as into the $$ as some more interventional ones, so would be a good person to see.
