Does anyone know where I can buy professional hair colour, such as Redken or Paul Mitchell in Hong Kong? Salons don't seem to sell colours, I guess they want to charge $1000 each time for touching up roots, which is an easy job and can be done at ohome but does need the right product.

Mooncakebaby, there is a shop on Wellington Street/Pottinger Street corner which sells hairdressing products and you can buy professional hair colour there. Not sure if they have Redken but they do sell Wella and Schwarzkopf. There are also a couple of hairdressing supply shops in Temple Street which also sell professional hair colours.

Thanks, shoegirl. But aren't Wella and Schwarzkopf just the colours you can buy in Watsons and Mannings? these are the ones I have used for years, but they are for Asian hair. they are partly peroxide, to bleach the black so it will take the colour, its so damaging to Caucasian hair. Are these different Wella and Schwarzkopf?

Hi Mooncakebaby,
No these Wella and Schwarzkopf tints are the professional ones that are used in salons. You also have to buy your own developing cream to use these. The ones in Watsons are intended for home use.
