A few buddies of mine would like to come over during the Sevens, but the room rates are sky high, like 2500 - 3000 per night. Does anyone know a reasonable priced hotel? I checked rates at www.hotelrateshongkong.com gives good comparisons but still high rates. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.

Most of my mates that come over stay at the short time hotels for 500-600 per night. You cant book unless you walk in with cash a few days before hand. Most of them are clean and as they only sleep there, having no windows doesn't seem to bother them.

I have mates over for the sevens too and they used hotwire but prices seem to have gone up since then...
This site has places sub HK$900 still on it though...
