Hi everyone my name is Tim from Australia. I am looking to move to Hong Kong to teach English as a second language to teach children or adults. I have few questions where is the best place live in Hong Kong, and secondly if there is anyone out there that either has taught or knows someone that teaches English can you please advise me on the best course of action to take, to succeed in securing employment. I realise there are a number of recruitment agencies there but if anyone can help me in this area it would be very much appreciated.

No point thinking about where you should live in Hong Kong, there is a lot of relatively cheap accomodation, which is all you will be able to afford. Get a job first, if you can. I would think about sharing a flat to start with, if I were you.
