Does anybody know where to buy a nice bedside lamp for children in HK ?
Most perfect would be something from "Cars", best with Lightening McQueen on it.
I already checked Toy Club, but no chance.
Would be veeery grateful for some good advice.

As it is a Disney item, have you tried the shops in HK Disney.
Also Amazon.co.uk sell it, but I am pretty sure they wouldn't ship to HK, if you come from UK you could have it sent to a uK address, then bring it over next time you visit.

If you are from the States you could look at the Amazon.com website, ship it to US address and collect when you visit.
I have done this with a few things I cannot obtain in HK.

hi and thxs for the reply. we are german and i always order things from amazon there too and bring them back home but now we just came back and i forgot to get it there...
disney might be a good idea but also there we've only been after christmas....
i think i try toys r us and maybe those lamp shops in wanchai....don't know anything else....

Trust me !! We got a Globe (EARTH) with a little 20 watt light inside , bought from a bookshop in the IFC shopping centre , for 298 HK$. This is so beautyfull , soft light , we keep ours on during whole night , and also very good for kids to start from early age discovering the different continents , etc . I even bought 2 extra to send home as gifts for my sisters kids . They might have to order for you , cause they sell very fast !!!! Soft , beautyfull blue / orange colour light . Tienie

It's the IFC , by Hong Kong MTR station , about 2 floors up , opposite Mannings , i think the name of bookshop is Asian Tigers. Also opposite a big shop selling TV's , big screen stuff . they also have other expensive globes there , but no light inside , ask them to order the globe with small light inside , it really is something very fascinating to sit in the evening watching the nice globe .
