I would urge everyone to read this study about the toxins present in polycarbonate baby bottles - see bottom of page 3:

I have now switched to glass bottles available at Mannings.

does anyone know where we can buy the born free bottles which dont have the toxins in baby bottles?

if we switched bottles, then i assume the babies/toddlers have to adjust to the new teats as well.

thanks piepie pig for the link.

This report was produced in 2005. There was a scare with Avent baby bottles for quite a while but that was disproved last year and they are safe to use. Just don't stick them in the microwave, in fact don't put anything plastic in the microwave.

What a relief! I almost had a heart attack when I read that study. Thank you very much for the useful info. It was a good wake-up call though. I'm going to stick with the glass bottles from now on.
