What a load of nonesense. This article and seemingly the book is totally flawed. The title to the thread is "How Disney Instills Greed and Consumerism" and yet it leads into Disney's companies. Do you think for a minute that a guy who made a secret apartment so he could look out in the morning to see the floods of smiling children enter his created world gave a thought to how he could exploit them. Let's not confuse the two. Disney is no longer run by Walt. But we love to seek out successful people who's hearts are/were in the right place and knock them down. Ah, a bit like all the dedicated teachers here in HK. Long may Disney continue to bring smiles to me and my kids.
