Do you want real fishing or fishing where you will probably catch something?

There are two places I know of that have manmade fishing lakes...one is on Tai Mong Tsai Rd In Sai kung - on the way to the country park.

The other is in Tai Po - on the road that takes you to brides pool in Plover Cove.

It seems they are able to supply all the gear for you - you just sit back and catch fish for a price.

Thanks dimac4!

Do you know if I need to make a reservation or can we just go there. Do you have a number to call? Have you done it before? How much is it?

Sorry, so many questions...

Try this site http://www.sportfishingasia.com/

Its full of spots to try. The saltponds at SaiKung are great, a stocked pond but never easy to catch fish. Taking a sampan out of SaiKung can also been quite fun. Try the site, read the posts and see you there!!

Hi there, my name is Dave and I charter a boat to fish regularly in Hong Kong - usually fishing off Lamma or Stanley. I am looking for interested anglers to join and share out the costs. Details of the charter as:

* Meeting point: At Ap Lei Chau Aberdeen

* Fibre glass 23 footer speedboat with shelter, comes with high speed Mercury outboard engine. Equipped with GPS and echo sounder to locate fishing spots. Capacity, can sit comfortably 6 anglers, best to sit 4 - 5 anglers.

* Timing: Set off at around 8:30am and return around 5:30pm

Interested, please email me at davehungpc@hotmail.com
