I'm thinking of applying for PR for my wife, shes been here for 7 years now. I am a permanent resident and my wife is my dependant for more than a year, she work as a fdh before for 6 years straight. Any chance that it can be approved, will there be any bad consequence if denied? Thanks.

Go ahead and apply for her. She's on a different boat that most FDHs. Besides, what have you got to lose if the application is denied? There is not even a fee for application, is there?
I would think that the application will be approved as long as you prove you can support her (as you have done for the past year), have a home, etc.
