Hi, i have seen many basic sets but have been looking for a good quality set to keep out on the coffee table. One with a nice board and quality pieces. Please let me know where I might find one. Thank you

Have you tried the shop in the Peak shopping area. I think it is on the same floor as Hard Rock. That shop has chess pieces in red stone , white (ivory maybe).

Try the Chinese Emporium stores. There is one on Queens Road Central across from the Ladder St. Also, there is a store in Pacific Place - I think it is by the AMC but one floor up. Not sure if either will have what you are looking for. but if it were me I'd start there. You can try the local mahjong seller (there are many all over HK - ask a local in your neighbourhood), but the quality may be lower than you'd want.
