Just wondering wherther it is just us or others are facing the same problem. For the past year or more (yes, definitely that long time) my wife and I have had challenges getting through to Asiamiles by phone (27473838). Here's what we faced:
1. A phone message saying the line is VERY busy and to leave a message and contact number! It took them over 24 hours to call back and in most occasions, no one bothered to call back!
2. A phone message saying you are in a queue. You will be lucky if someone attends to you in 15 minutes. The longest we waited was over 1 hour!
At the rate they are responding to phone calls, I wonder why they even bothered to have customer service telephone numbers.
And all we wanted to do was to change our flight booking schedule which we are happy to do so online ourselves, if they have such service!

And i really wonder if making any complaints would make things any better? I am just thinking if the complaint email will even reach the higher management group!!

I call them on the way into the office - around 7.30am. Typically get through pretty quickly at that time.

Asiamiles are famously horrible to contact.

I think the service of Asiamiles is absolutely appalling and I too wonder why they bother to even have a customer service phone number. I have Asiamiles expiring tomorrow and just couldn't imagine that it would be impossible to get through at all over a 24hr period. They also don't give out any queuing number (unlike some airlines in Europe) so you have no idea if there are 500 people ahead of you or 10 people. I started calling at 7.40AM and after 45 mins on hold I gave up. I called several times during the day but as I am working I cannot call all the time. I am now trying in the evening and I have been 1 hour and 41mins on hold. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! A few years ago it was not like this.
