HK ID with HK Pass and the 3 year rule?

My both parents are born in hk, I'm not. I was born with brittish citizen in another country in Europe. I'm holding a permanent HKID AO with 3* and 4 years ago I got HK SAR Passport (and I also got Chinese ID~ called "Home Return Permit" during that time), all because I was born before -97 with brittish citizenship.

My question is, I always had to return once in 3yrs.

But how is it right now, if I got HK SAR Passport.

Do I still need to worry about return before 3yrs?

Thanks
