does anyone know where I can buy some file cabinets? the basic metal design would. The ikea ones don't seem to be particularly sturdy.

There is a small furniture shop in DB called Next(upper floor of plaza next to Watsons chemist shop), which sells filing cabinets, 2 or 4 drawer, metal with lock, they have them in a catalogue and orders take around 2 weeks to arrive, but very good, I got mine from there.

Try http://www.shinway.com/ They have several small showrooms around town but the 'shop' in Kwun Tong is the largest one and the owner was very helpful and speaks good English. They do lots of office stuff + will make you up office furniture to measure. We used them a week or two ago for a custom made desk and a couple of bookcases. More solid/commercial than Ikea/pricerite and cheaper. Only issue with the website is that it doesn't have much English on it, but you can work your way round it ok. Hope this helps.
