Shopping for hiking/ camping gear in HK

Hi there,

We want to go hiking and camping on Lantau. We haven't brought our gear with us, all left in Europe to be used there.

Where can we go and buy some equipment? Tents, bags, etc.

I havent seen any outdoor shop? But we're pretty new in HK so maybe we haven't looked in the right place...

Done a search on here too but it didn't bring anything (again, new here and might have missed a trick)

Anyone knows where we should go? Or maybe we should order online from some country else?

Thanks

The best outdoor shop with a lot of stuff, all you can imagine , from cheap items to high quality , expensive gear , is ""The Overlander"" 610 Nathan road , inside the Hollywood plaza building., 12 th floor. Mong Kok . Take E2 exit , walk one or 2 blocks down . Can also find their details on the web. They have all under one roof and i spend hours there . HK is a super place for camping , hiking , mountainbiking. From the same shop you can buy all the Countryside maps , fantastic maps with detailed info about all trails in this nice place . I have spent a year here in HK and still have"nt seen or done even 30 % of the trails , so many . Enjoy!!!!!!
